Details 

It is rare to find a child’s play set with a canvas & leather bag in such excellent condition. The set comprises of a wood stamped ‘The Mascot’, two irons and putter with brass heads. All the clubs are clearly stamped with the maker’s name.

The wood has been beautifully restored, whereas the irons and putter are in original condition. This set is for a child aged 6 to 10 years old depending on their height.

The set and bag would make a superb display item but could also be used for play.

Jack White (Sunningdale) 15 degree Brassie for a Junior player or for Display c.1920

Details 

A very nice stripe top brassie beautifully restored for a young junior player (7 to 8 year) to his/her skills, or this club will make a really nice display item without taking up too much room. The length is 32” (81cm).

The light brown stained persimmon head is clearly stamped with the makers signature within the stripe band across the centre of the head.

Robert Forgan (St. Andrews) Scare-Neck Child's Wood c.1890

Details 

A rare opportunity to purchase a scare-neck made for a child by one of the greatest club makers during the hickory era. A superb club for display. The length is 24.75” (63cm).

The maker’s name is clearly visible stamped to the crown of the head with the ‘Prince of Wales Plumes’ stamped beneath.

A. H. Scott (Elie) Fork Spliced Brassie made for a Junior player c.1902.

Details 

A great little club for a collector. A.H. Scott was one of the most respected club makers during the hickory era, eventually becoming the club maker to King George V. The length is 31” (79cm).

Scott patented the ‘Fork Splice’ joint in 1894, the number is still partially visible stamped to the crown of the head. The Prince of Wales ‘Plumes’ are also stamped above his name.

This  small wood is in original condition except for the fitting of a hide grip due to the original grip missing. This club is meant for DISPLAY only.
